Also with the Bank helix it seems like I can’t at most use two shots. Why is this? What am I doing wrong?
Well it needs 45 sec to get 3 charges (15sec each harge), build something sometimes reset the time (unless got fixed).
Go with swise cheese to get more dps!!

Oooooooooooh, I thought it tripled damage essentially, but weakened each blast. That’s very interesting and actually makes sense lol, thank you. And I think I’ll stick with Swiss cheese, mostly cuz I despise cheese and I’ll enjoy pretending to shoot at it

I think it’s how it’s cold AND yellow AND not exceptionally dry. That in turn ruined melted cheese. Enjoy! (I won’t)
To make efective the right hélix you need lvl 1 and 2. Is usefull vs meele, is annoying to get pushed back all the fking time lol.
But vs a balance party or pendless ill go with left.

Very useful. I will take note. After so much Orendi and Ambra I’m used to living by cooldown, so not spamming will take some effort lol
I haven’t played in a little while, but pre patch, +Attack Speed definitely lowered the recoil.
Agreed that the triple scrap is good for repeatedly pushing melee characters away (4 push backs if you include quick melee attack), but unless it’s a VERY melee heavy team, I will usually use my quick melee to push them away, followed by a slow grenade so they can’t close the distance to me too quickly (I especially enjoy stick and sap), followed by swiss cheese to amp damage and then unload on the crit spot they conveniently just put right in front of my face while walking backwards. The reveal is especially good for Pendles.
I know it’s not the best choice, but I always take knockback on Scrap Cannon at level 1, just because once during chaos rumble I knocked a Pendles off mid thralls with it and my whole team proceeded to laugh about it in global chat.
It’s not a bad choice! It definitely has its uses (Rath’s ultimate is a perfect example of where it shines).
I love watching players get booted off the map. Makes me laugh every single time and I wish I could have seen this one!
It’s certainly handy for melee characters. Pendles promptly spent the entire rest of the match only trying to kill me =D

Well, only recoil can lower recoil. And attack speed would apply recoil more often, meaning it would have more. I may be missing something, but it may have been a placebo
I believe it never did that. Basically, Attack Speed applied to the entire 3-shot burst (lowering the time between individual shots) and the time between bursts, which was also (more or less) capped by how fast you could pull the trigger.
You still had the ‘normal’ Recoil, stacking Attack Speed was just speeding up the re-alignment of your gun.
/Edit: This also explains the difference between ‘Attack Speed’ and ‘Fire Rate’ (on his lore legendary), as the latter one would only speed up the time between individual shots.
At least that’s my impression. I never ‘needed’ Recoil gear on WF before and it always seemed like wasting a gear slot. Maybe now with the changes to his Rifle, the actual benefit is higher.

Go with his legendary, Blue double recoil on reload and an attack speed. I have one that comes with health as it’s second trait.
The ult is very chaotic and recently it feels even worse. The recoil seems like it’s been upped. Don’t use it unless the guys are right on top of you, or you are shooting at larger items from farther away (sentry, army of drones in incursion or meltdown…etc). WF can easily take down the sentry shield with the right decisions. Makes it very hard on enemies.
I’ve been using the attack speed with health, I may use the recoil rare, but I’m probably going to use the Mini Singularity Launcher. Regen will cover my mistakes and I’m not great at landing Strike and Sap so the slow will help. As OP says, I’m a Whiskey Freshtrot, so I have no legendary, as I have the guy at like level 5 rn
