Who counters who?!

Montana may be hard to kill in those situations but miko surely isn’t caldarius can destroy miko when he’s just sitting behind Montana

Best advice I could give is play on your weakness,be it with gear ot gameplay.
For Benedict vsMarquis/Thorn for example,if they decide to focus you both, try to put someone else between you and them as a target, then try to retaliate,Benedict does have a lot of mobility. (I have a special gear combo for him,he’s so well rounded imo that I only need reload and move speed,so I take a grey 0 cost shard gen,an epic reload with health/s and the movespeed leg that gives 2.80%dmg red +2.80 from sides and rear.)

And I tend to do this with every char, target my weaknesses on them and fix em with gears or w/e I can. (Places where you can hide from the snipers while still being able to dmg minions/anyone who pass close, etc)

Not nearly as tough as Shayne and Reyna man, at least with Miko/Monatana Miko has to stop dps to heal, Reyna and shanye can constantly lay on the damage and both have pretty good CCs (Shayne’s Fetch and slow with stealth and Reyna’s slow).

Benedicts Hawkeye is a force to be reckoned with so landing it on thorn or marquis could almost be a sure doom especially when u get Benedicts ult which like caldarius’s ultimate is a great finishing blow to any target

I can beleive that Benedict has quite the learning curve, but against heavy hitters from range like Thorn or Marquis? I mean Benedict has the overall best mobility, but I would say it’s easier to shoot a Benedict out of the air than the ground.
Also trying to hit Marquis/Thorn (anyone who’s not a tank) with rockets is rather hard (least for me) unless you are up close with splash damage, but than you are only doing some damage rather than full with a direct hit.

Side-note-thought - Is it me, or does Marquis and Thorn hit harder than Benedict? Which makes sense, but his rockets feel really dumbed down in comparison. (Just had this thought because of my experience with loads of games where Rockets are the power weapon that takes…not much skill to use but gets lots of kills where a bow&arrow or Sniper are power weapons that NEED skill to do damage.)

Well, in other games Rockets are usually a special weapon and only have a limited number of shots, so having Benedict being as mobile as he is and doing the insane damage that other rockets in other games do would be very game breaking. on the other hand you do actaully get rewarded for hitting criticals with Marquis and Thorn their crit damage is really high, but in other games snipers are two shot kills most of the time if not a headshot so it doesn’t always mean that they have to have skill.

I know. It just feels extremely rewarding in this game getting a headshot or just dumping in body shots rather then getting direct hits with the rockets, let alone the splash damage.

A good player can counter anyone really. It isn’t so much the character as it is the hand that guides it.

Get in Marquis’ or Thorn’s grill the whole game and triple-hawkeye them into oblivion. Thorn isn’t a threat at any point really because not being on the ground=no blight, and the arrows are hard as **** to hit on a good Benedict. Marquis is is only a threat if you’re distracted and he’s shooting you down from miles away. Get in his face, kill him, and get on with your duties.

TBH I fear Oscar Mike the most as Benedict. Constant long-range damage that doesn’t let off if you get right up on him (spray and pray-ish).
