Well, yeah, I’ve gotten one or two by mid thralls, but I don’t think it would count as the ult isn’t what killed them, the lack of ground was

I did it with ISIC. A normal game I’d say, everyone just liked to line up when I wanted to go for the Sentry and naturally I had to take them out first because they were in the way
Though you’re gonna need a support (Kleese!! Reyna!) if you want to stay in the ULT for long enough. But it lasts for 40 seconds. That’s a lot of killing potential.
And yeah, Incursion is Ideal because you need to get multikills with the ULT and in Meltdown people are usually too spread out for that. And also, ISIC in his ult is slow which in Meltdown is bad.

Orendi, Thorn and Rath are pretty good for it.

I’ve probably gotten closest with him. Stack attack speed (stolen edge of arc is a godsend for his ult, you’ll melt faces) and have a kleese rifting you.

Yeah, Kleese and ISIC are a hell of a pair

ISIC pre nerf with a pocket healer was probably very good at this, thorn should still be good, or rath before the 13th and the cd nerf.
Orendi isn’t that much of a good idea, as lots of her kills when she ult at level 10 comes from pillar storm, which isn’t counted. Pillar storm kill before the ult iself, which mean that if you have two low health opponent you’re targeting with your ult, chance is, at least one of the two will die before the ult gets off.
Don’t think you can get bada bada boom with Orendi without doing at least 3 times the number of kill (Ie, 36) in the whole game, except if extremely lucky. She’s stil la better option than a good amount of battleborn, but I wouldn’t bet on having a easy time getting it with her. Especially since when you dominate with Orendi, usually the game doesn’t last the full 30min.
I play a lot Orendi, did more than 25 kills several times, and never got bada bada boom with her. That’s not impossible to do, but I doubt you’re going to have an easy time. Maybe before the chrono key’s nerf, but now…

Also, the Gear I’m running for ISIC is a free shard gen, a purple Eldrid Sword (NO penalty! NO!) and a purple LLC gauntlet. I might have been running either a free or a purple LLC shield item when I did this challenge. I don’t remember anymore, but I haven’t touched this loadout in a while.
What Nerf?

His ult nerf. WHen he could remain in ult all the time, with enough healing and smart enough play, basically all kills he was doing was his ult kill. Meaning if you could keep ISIC a very long time in his ult form by supporting him, he was doing only “ult kill”. Reaching 12 when all your kill are registered as ult kill is far easier than when 1/3rd or less are :).

Ah, yeah that one. I think 40 seconds of the ULT is fine. To me his ULT was buffed since the cooldown is now shorter. You’re a little too slow in your ULT to get a lot of kills by just staying in it for as long as possible, if your enemies know how to run away or use CC that is.

For bada bada boom’s purpose, that’s a clear nerf.
When you’ll get bada bada boom, it would really be surprising if your enemies were the kind to know how to run away or use cc anyway

Hmm, well I managed to get it after the nerf, I felt it made the ULT a lot better since I was never staying in it for long periods of times, but I could now use it much more often.

So I have managed to get this a handful of times, the only commonality is the match lasts a while. First I did it with Rath, pre cooldown nerf, but have gotten it a couple times with him since. Orendi is great for it, I have gotten at 15 kills in a match with it.
Although my most satisfying one was Deande, I got three triple kills in that match.

Ah, Deande … I didn’t even consider Blink Storm. That’ll certainly go on the list, thanks
Otherwise, looks like we’re still talking about Orendi, Thorn, Isic, and Rath.
Rath is the only character I haven’t played a good deal with, because I honestly think his knock-up and then Ult continues to be the most broken thing in the game. Well, perhaps tied with a team using a skilled Ghalt and a few characters that are always around to capitalize on the trap, such as Alani with a Geyser. I don’t like dieing at full health without being able to do a darn thing about it except preemptively running away, and I prefer not to inflict that on others, either. But that’s for another thread

I’m working to get it done with Whiskey Foxtrot if I can. I may be handicapping myself, but I will do it dammit.
The thing about Whiskey, is that not only do you need his mutations to do well, you also need lots of practice. His ult almost guarentees a kill or two if you can aim it, so this naturally requires more discipline in the art of the Foxtrot given how weird the transition is.
Oh, and it’s not until level 6 or 7 he becomes incredible. That’s a big deal, as only skilled Foxtrot players will stay positive until then.
I think you might find getting that many kills with his ult rather hard. I have 2 items that bring down recoil and still find it rather hard. For some reason lately it feels like his gun shoots all over the place when ULT activated. Getting more than 1 kill with his ult is very hard. This is especially true staying at range where he’s supposed to be.
It might be a shed easier with a big target like Kleese. His ult goes right through Kleese basically.

Oh yeah, Whiskey is the melee and tank shredder. Anyone with a massive hitbox is who pays Whiskey’s bills with their corpses.
I typically use his ult for whaling on the sentry. If you’ve got the proper gear, and the proper helix choices, he can take down the sentry shield in just a few seconds. As far as kills go, his ult is best fired in bursts, as the recoil is f*cking insane.
Once I start the game up, I’ll post my exact gear stats here. I spec’d them specifically for sustained damage. Everything is in reload speed, recoil, and attack speed.
that sounds like mine. His legendary, Blue double recoil on reload and purple attack speed with skill damage.
I generally only use his ult for the sentry shield. The only thing I know i’ll still be able to hit. It just seems lately it’s even harder. IDK… could just be me.

Still not sure what this is, but it seems like it asks for 12 ult kills in a single match?
