Oooh yeah ghalt was my original main and my first mastery and even now I can take on most characters 1v1 easily. Both barrels blazing crits can do insane damage also his ult is bugged to hell the only time I use it is when I hit level ten and get the cc immunity from it.
I hate Galt. As El dragon, if I get pulled by a hook, Iāll land on a ātrapā and just die instantly to that insane shotgun damage. Heās supposed to be a disrupter, but he can be extremely assassin like in the oddest way. I donāt think he was meant to be a character who will instantly get characters to die so easily like that but thatās how he is. So yeah, Ghalt can go jump in a pool of corrosive acid.
Itās because his crits do insane damage if youāre not aiming for crits with ghalt youāre doing it wrong
Currently my least favourite characters are Pendles, Deande, El Dragon, Rath and Rabid Galilea.
As I often play healers and support characters I find Pendles and Deande particularly irritating because they are constantly trying to bypass my team and single me out. They are the reason I play Ambra so often even though Iād like to be mastering somebody else.
El Dragon and Rath annoy me no end because they seem to come out of nowhere and just delete your health without warning. El Dragon seems to break the sound barrier escaping if you do turn the tables so you can rarely punish him for over-extending. Rath isnāt so quick to withdraw but the knockup -> spin-to-win combo would be stupidly predictable apart from when you just turn the corner and find yourself on top of him. His ultimate seems to break you out of sprinting, ignores any attempt to push him back since youāre stuck on top of him so you can only push him toward the ground instead of backwards. Heās been irritating since CTT but at least we have new characters to counter him.
Rabid Galilea is an interesting beast. It only really occurs if you play as Ambra and she will do anything to get you. She will plough through all minions and your entire team, she will chase you out of your lane, across the map and if not for the team force field she would chase you into your own base ignoring the base turrets shooting at her until her damn skeleton would chase you into spawn. Itās pretty funny sometimes when they put themselves into really stupid situations just to secure an Ambra kill but I tend to just zig-zag away from her and make her run through sunspots until she either gives up, gets a lucky hit with her shield or I weaken her enough to counter-attack. However, according to forum logic I can just use my staff drain to instantly kill her, her team, all minions on the map and both sentries all at once.
Ghalt can be annoying but unless he drags me into the middle of his team I can often back off and disengage.
I do find Boldur irritating but characters like Montana and Attikus can grind his shield down gradually.
Only for him to heal 1,000 damage plus health Regen when you finally break his shield, and have him walk away at normal speeds, chilling behind a corner for a second, then coming back out with the shield reforged! And ready to heal 1,000 more damage.
The answer to boldur is a hundred bears, 3 stuns all 2 seconds long in a row, and all five BB unleashing everything they have on the dwarf.
yes, this is an over exaggeration but heās still really hard to kill and keep out of the fight for longer than 15 seconds
It is now multiple Kleeseās.
the thing for me is that fighting boldur is just a battle of attrition. an attikus specced for regen/sustain can actually wear him down without much trouble(Iāve done it to a few boldurs that werenāt exceptional but werenāt bad either) I specced for full health regen. then I took the level 5 left choice for health regen based on hedronic charges that ended up with me having 61.6 hp/s regen , then I came after boldur without using my skills. yes it sucks not using your skills to fight, but I was wearing him down and taking him out slowly(I had tenacity which is consecutive melee hits deal increased damage up to 60% after 5 hits) but I could have specced lifesteal at that same level and made my character even harder to wear down but I went for damageā¦and that boldur had nothing he could do but back up, even when he stunned me at one point I just kept going.
LOL, dwarves are awesome!
He could block? Assuming he had his ult, and he should by your level, heās going to get healed for at least 500+hp before shield breaks. Or you stop hitting him until he drops it and lose tenacity.
Thats how i see it anyways :3
He blocked yes, but if heās not able to cause damage back then keep swinging until you have to disengage. Thatās the point Iām trying to make. Attikus at level 1 hits for a base of 78. At level 5 not counting tenacity thatās roughly 94, after I get enough hits that jumps to 149.7 so boldur can block, in about 3 more hits heāll just lose almost all the life he gained unless heās running or team mates save him
Until Boldurdash is off CD and then he can stun attikus, tenacity resets and hes got 8 seconds of DR and can easily box attikus
but boldurdash loses him the healing shield until his ultimate is off cooldown, meanwhile attikus has a constant regen. just because it can be done doesnāt mean itās as easy as youāre trying to claim.
Just Rath. The silence *with his ult is stupid.
thx for the correction
His Ult doesnāt silence, Cataclysmic Smash does.
Edit: No problems.
Though it is hilarious when a new Rath doesnāt ever cataclysmic smash into Dreadwind.
Against Montana.
Mansformation and kill. Thanks.
The best thing is when you completely block it with ISICās shield. Like āNope, deniedā
Eeewwwwwwā¦
I looked up ābutt fungusā on Google Images.
DO NOT look up ābutt fungusā on Google Images.
And now I have to.
Ghalt, without a doubt. I hate his pull stun mine combo. I mean, itās avoidable if Iām watching Ghalt. See him drop a stun mine, go evasive because I know heās going for the pull next. However, if Iām busy and Ghalt is out of my vision . . . there I go across the map, into a stupid stun mine, and now Iām dead. I hate it.
Boldur is just annoying to fight and annoyingly difficult to kill.
Kleeseās shock tasers are a bit much IMO and if he gets set up with his stupid rifts, annoying. Especially if youāre not playing a character that has some kind of AOE attack.
El Dragon is definitely super annoying too. He just takes you from 100 to 0 too fast. I mean, I know thatās his thing and heās super squishy if you catch him but that doesnāt make him any less annoying.
A good pocket Miko is a nightmare. GBX clearly doesnāt agree with me here but I will forever beat the drum that Miko needs some kind of nerf. Either his heal beam needs to eventually run out and need to recharge, or it needs to be an actual beam he actually has to aim.
Marquis used to be on this list but since nerfed ein, zwei, die, heās been a lot more manageable and honestly, I think people have just been playing him less.
Hm, now itās Kleese.
Tazer nuke, Rift galore, tons of HP.
āSupportā.
The nerfs will be soon for kleese (hopefully
