Who would you take to the BattleBall?

You’re missing one, she has 4 arms.

When she reassembled her cells whilst teleporting she leaves the blood behind in a puddle.

Clearly NOVA !

 1. She really is in need to leave that ship
 2. I love her humor

The only thing i really fear is that Kleese would put her into a FAT-MAN-Robo-Body, i have to avoid that !

Best reagrds.

Whiskey?? Or Reyna??
I don’t really dance, though.
Maybe Montana then, he is so kind he probably wouldn’t mind.

I don’t need your crappy nanotech, Phoebe can reverse-engineer anything and build me a better arm.

And she will, because she loves me and we share a common passion.
Alani is also pretty good looking and she controls water so we can drown the competition together
I don’t think Alani would enjoy going to a ball. She’s something of a wallflower, and most of her knowledge of dancing probably involves dance moves that end up killing people.

I could totally imagine Reyna being as much a queen of the ball as she is queen of the Rogues. I can see Reyna cleaning up very nicely (especially if she wears that slinky dress you know she has deeo in her closet).

As for the beau, I’m actually picturing Ghalt (after asking Reyna out). I bet he’s a lot more cultured than people give him credit for, and, unlike most of the male Battleborn, he has an excellent figure for a tuxedo.

Thinking through all of the other characters…

Ambra is too angry and wouldn’t end up with a date. Also, she has really harsh features (though she would be able to pull off a high cut dress really well), and you know she would be trying to tell the waitstaff they’re doing everything wrong and that everyone else is dancing the wrong way.

Attikus is a bit too big, bulky, and unwieldy to dance well, but he’s extremely smart and eloquent. I also think he would be very polite and take care of his date extremely well. He would be an excellent date, as long as you don’t want to dance (he’d probably be fine with others asking his date to dance since I don’t think he’s the type to be threatened by others).

For Benedict, I’ve got no clue. He could be a refined Southern gent or a straight up redneck hick. We’d just have to see how it plays out.

Boldur would put on a tux (you know he has one somewhere), but he would probably have to crash the party since no one invited him (by “accident”, of course!) and, in so crashing, would probably crash it in a more literal sense as well.

Caldarius is too angry for a ball. He’s also a tiny man in a robot suit so I’m not sure how putting a tuxedo on a man in a battlesuit would work. He is a good dancer, though (even if it’s more street dancing than ball dancing).

Deande is obviously an excellent choice. She’s graceful and refined (and already has a fan to use when the boys compliment her and she needs to cover up her blushing). She’s a bit too obvious of a choice for the belle of the ball, however; Reyna showing up in full splendor would give a surprise factor that Deande couldn’t match.

Not sure about El Dragon.

Galilea would probably be a wallflower along with Alani (the spinster duo) and would probably be the reason that no one comes to ask Alani to dance (they’re afraid that it would anger Galilea, who would start going demonic and trying to kill everyone).

I can see ISIC putting on a tux and going with… Nova, maybe? Even so, he’s a bit too crazy and unrefined for a ball; he could very easily be the DJ/conductor/musical director.

Kelvin would look so cute with a tuxedo on! But I don’t think he’s much of a dancer and the only person who’d want to ask him there is Miko who is pretty off-putting to the rest of the BB.

Kleese is too old and crotchety. He would put on his (very much so out of fashion) tux and arrive in his great big battlechair and look at everyone angrily and judgementally (and love every minute of it).

Marquis is obviously another obvious choice for an excellent date, though he would definitely be mistreating the waitstaff the entire time. I actually imagine him spending more time coming up with and executing interesting ways to screw with the service staff than actually attending the ball.

Mellka is a lot like Reyna: you know she cleans up really nice, especially with a good slinky dress and some nice heels. Unlike Reyna, however, Mellka never removes her great big disfiguring doom glove, which is going to put off her entire look (and probably poison anyone she dances with as well).

Miko is incredibly elegant and an excellent and elegant dancer. But they’re incredibly off-putting because there’s just something weird about dancing with sentient fungi. Also, they’re the own date, even if they’d probably go along with Kelvin.

Montana has a tux (you know it), but it doesn’t fit. He would be constantly complaining about it itching or pinching and, when he gets on the dance floor, you can guarantee he would crash into everyone since he’s a great big clumsy oaf (even if a loveable one). His date would find him charming, even if everyone who he accidentally ruined the outfit of got really upset with him.

Orendi is insane. She’s probably a good dancer and might have a decent outfit to dance in? If she comes, I fully expect her to be the reason the ball ends several hours early in a massive explosion.

Oscar Mike would be an excellent date, if a bit boring. He knows what to do, but I just don’t see him doing anything more than what’s expected of him. He’s also a bit insecure in his manhood and is likely to overcompensate.

Pendles probably has a tux for when he has to assassinate dignitaries at formal events. He’d probably be hanging out with (or working in parallel to) Marquis, coming up with ways to screw with people (thought Pendles is probably more interested in screwing with the guests while Marquis screws with the staff).

Phoebe has already been brought up. She fits in perfectly but is something of an obvious choice.

Rath seems so serious, is fundamentally unable to relax, and only enjoys fighting and swords. I see him attending, purely out of a sense of obligation, but standing off to the side or near the entrance, on guard for assassins of some kind.

Shane is a bit young and rebellious so I don’t see her being totally willing to come, but we all know that Reyna would force her to go and force her to wear a dress and force Aurox to put on a tuxedo. Because she’s mom and doesn’t want Shane to miss out on the experience. Shane would then probably have an amazing time (and maybe even get a little drunk when Pendles inevitably spikes the punch).

Thorn would definitely show up, in a very refined but feminine outfit that matches her Aelfrin dignity. She would secretly want to dance, but everyone would be too scared of her to ask her. Of course, I could very easily see Montana asking her to the ball and regularly stepping on her toes until she get frustrated at his inability to dance and just storms off (with broken toes).

Toby would just be so adorable in his little tuxedo on top of his penguin tuxedo coloration. He would probably try to go while riding Berg, but he wouldn’t be allowed to (mainly because allowing him to bring Berg would mean that Rath should be allowed to bring his swords and Thorn her bow and so on and so on until everyone is armed to the teeth and it’s just a great big PvP match). Toby would just have to content himself with being the most adorable person at the ball (and probably get drunk by taking a dive into the spiked punch bowl or champagne fountain).

Whiskey would probably take Deande (since they’re an item, canonically). I’m torn on whether he would wear an absolutely impeccable tuxedo (that he made by hand) or the dirtiest, most beaten up, raggedy suit ever.

TL:DR A Battleball would be hilarious, but Ghalt and Reyna for king and queen!

I think marquis would go with nova, he likes her I think, ISIC would kill the mood and break relationships for fun

Well, both ISIC and Marquis are pretty sadistic; the difference is that Marquis’ sadism is directed at the poor and unfortunate (which is anyone who doesn’t happen to be obscenely wealthy (which is why I think he would torment whoever or whatever is serving the ball) while ISIC’s sadism is directed at all sapient meat (and probably most sentient meat as well; which is why I think he would be put in charge: he’s not liable to sabotage something that he’s been put in charge of since he’s a Magnus that’s all about efficiency; he’d still probably insult everyone though).

Does it have to be a Battleborn? Because I would so take Lilith after watching her cut a rug in TPS.

That part about putting ISIC in charge is twisted in so many ways, well the thing is marquis is VERY gentlemanly, I don’t think he would let his insanity ruin it at a ball, especially with NOVA who he believes likes him, plus he actually does seem like one to stand up for his woman/lady AI

I wouldn’t doubt that Marquis would be a consummate gentleman and treat his date quite well. I just think that he would also be surreptitiously sabotaging and mistreating the staff because he’s a sadist who hates the poor.

I’d go with Montana. I love big, tall guys. Plus, he’s a teddy bear, has an awesome beard and those abs/arms? Forget it. I would fully expect him to show up in a tuxedo T-shirt, though.

I’d vote Deande and Whiskey as king and queen.

You’d probably also end the night with crushed feet because he is most definitely not light on his feet and has a terrible habit of getting in everyone’s way. He may be good with his hands, but I can pretty much guarantee you that he’s got two left feet.

Dancing is not necessary.

I’d take Oscar Mike, he seems like a lovable goof, would make an entertaining night.
Or Toby, cause he already looks like he has a tux and he’s adorable

I feel Mellka would prefer a tuxedo, actually.

I can see that, though I think it’s hard to determine. I’ve met some extremely badass womyn-types that still love wearing a dress and going through the whole she-bang for a fancy event. My feeling about Mellka is that she would consider a tuxedo until she realizes how boring it would look (and how hard it would be to manage a tux jacket with her gauntlet that she refuses to take off).

I’d definitely ask Thorn to the ball!

We definitely wouldn’t win beau and belle of the ball, but that’s cool. We’d just be there to have a few drinks and cut a mean rug! : )

I would love to ask Mellka, but she doesn’t need anyone. She’s a independent badass and I love it… so I’d ask to go as friends with Alani.

Deande

I don’t think there’s a better option in the list. Although, you could prolly easily trick Alani into banging you.
