I love Rath, Gallilea and Caldarius.
I love Rath because I can just absolutely crush the enemy team. You build him with attack speed attack damage and more life steal and he’s crazy good. If I play Rath I always go like 22-4 or better. And unless you have a Shayne on your team you aren’t killing Rath.
Gallilea is great simply because of how good she is in every situation. It’s possible to take on 3 people at full health with her and win. She’s terrifying no matter who you’re playing and she just eats up damage. I build her helix so it’s all offensive and by level 7 or 8 you’re able to take on everyone and anyone effortlessly.
Caldarius is by far my favorite character though. I play him differently than I play my other two in that I’m a little more laid back and I try to be more of a support than a carry. everything about his move set is fantastic. I’ve been using him since the closed technical test and he only got better since then. He’s incredibly fast and I love using his dash to escape after I went in to deep.

I’d have to go with Rath or Marquis, personally. Miko is also a blast, despite the wonky healing beam. But Rath is my go-to. It’s too fun to pop people up in the air and catch them in your ulti. They just bounce around on your spinning blades of destruction.

First of all, I love there are so many characters that seem so great.
First character that I had my eye on was Phoebe (come on, so many swords - and they levitate!).
Secondly, Caldarius cuz the promo from Gearbox that it being like a Gundam and whatnot - awesome.
Finally, TOBY. Penguin in a mech? Freakin’ awesome. I like penguins.
Buuuuuut the characters are mostly the only reason this game interests me besides it being a Gearbox game.

Mellka atm…her playstyle suits me perfectly, and she seems to be a general counter to some of the currently “overtuned” characters with her speed and DOT abilities. In addition to Eldrid being my fav faction thematically.

Tried it at my friend’s insistence, despite team-styled/based PvP not being my thing; picked Oscar Mike because of similarities to Axton (“Borderlands 2”). Definitely my favorite for ones I’ve played; him and Shayne are probably my faves from the ones I’ve watched my friend play.
101, I’m hating Montana. Never played him, but his dialogue is hella annoying.

Thorn is the character I’m sticking to at the moment.
She suits my preferred style of play… Damaging from a distance mostly, I always enjoy a sniper type roll, and I’m fond of a bow in nature (Ellie the last of us, tomb raider, general D&D).
She might not be able to get beef on in the multiplayer match modes, but I feel like she provides efficient support, can move quickly, and her specials can take out large mobs of minions quickly when required… I’d be hopeless at explaining them though, so give her a try!
I haven’t really played any others though, I just know I’d be awful at a melee based character as it generally isn’t my thing… But I may surprise myself when I choose to give someone else a try based on the above recommendations.

Montana is my wife’s favorite. She has used him more than any character and I actually love having the big guy around. Not only is he a great meatwall, but i find his dialogue amusing.
“Guuuuyyys. I ran out of ice jokes!”
“Innappropriate gesture!”
It reminds me of a less offensive mr torgue, whjch was one of my favorite bl characters (just behind claptrap).

I guess I’m the only one that loves KELVIN!! 
I love how much health he can accumulate throughout a match/mission. I played Void’s Edge solo and got to 12,000 max health by the end 
His Ice wall is also super cool and great for keeping enemies from running away.

Basically anything melee, but mostly Rath and Phoebe. I love the adrenaline rush and tunnel vision I get when in pursuit of an enemy.

Yes, she has the same voice actress as Tiny Tina, her name is Ashly Burch. Very talented voice actress.
After Orendi comes:
Whisky Foxtrot, he wields a rifle with what is basically a underslung shotgun, which is actually what made me like him (I blame Killzone for that!). Shayne/Aurox, probably the closest thing to a pet class the game will get, have yet to play as her but she has an amazing design going on.
Galilea, take Athena and infuse it with a few hints of Samus Aran. Perfect combo if you ask me.
Deande, love her design once again, and she provides that risk/reward gameplay I occasionally crave for.
Honourable mention goes to Oscar Mike for his amazing personality that makes him break the “generic soldier dude” mold tend to go for.

I’ve really enjoyed Oscar Mike to be honest. Whiskey Foxtrot not so much which makes me sad. Oscar Mike is completely better.
Really LOVE Galilee and I have enjoyed Phoebe too.

Seriously, XR was – no – IS my favorite disney character of all time. ISIC makes me laugh just as much.

Nice he’s one of the guys I was planning on using
Caldarius. Been playing him since the CTT and his lore makes it even better. Notably the lore regarding Rath. His dialogue may not be the best, but his laugh makes up for it and who doesn’t want to play Megatron.
