Its only long queue times for the 5 man parties and it should be that way!! Why make it easy for the 5 mans to roll randoms? They are the only ones having fun doing that…

You say op when galilea got nerfed in the beta same with ambra and ambra just got a day one nerf again so if you say shes op you must be really bad at this game when shes nerfed to un playable now.
At least I am good enough to use forums and know how to edit my posts to add comments to it… So if I can get something as simple as that down, I am sure I can handle this game…
But still the fact you want to call ambra still op when they nerfed her not once but twice. Yhey nerfed her hard like they just ■■■■■ her for no reason for what everyone says she was to op when in fact after that first nerfed she was weak but pretty balanced and no everyone still want to complain she’s a healer and has life steal so of course youll have a hard time killing her.
None of this takes away from the fact that 5 randoms should not go up against 5 man parties… But whatever floats your boat… You got my on the fact that I didnt read the patch notes to know ambra got nerfed… good for you… She was OP in beta…
Too many teams to have fun as a solo player. I’m just trying to unlock Toby (since the season passed didn’t let me unlock anyone) and I’m at 3 wins were a rogue hero and 22 losses cause of all the damn teams. The first 5 minutes of a fight you can tell if you’re against a skilled team and my pug team refuses to surrender.
The unlock should of been 5 wins or 50 matches played, cause I’m gotta hit that 50 games before 5 wins with a pug.
Umm boulder doesn’t have a energy shield no Eldred has.Also boulder is pretty balanced from what I see.
Also flying is Benedict’s thing he’s a hard counter to every melee.He is actually good at killing Gilea in the air.He also very vulnerable to every range when he’s in the air if they focus him.
Ambra should be fine now that she’s been nerfed multiple times(maybe even nerfed too much)
Gilea I have only fought once in matches.so can’t properly analyse her.
Back on topic yeah fighting teams when your in a random group can be challenging.However I’ve been in a few matches when the random group wins against the team. So it is possible. Also how do you know if your opponents are working as a team there’s no indication of it other than they seem to work well together when your fighting them.
I haven’t seen anyone playing Ambra since beta.

The “win 5 matches” condition also includes story missions, so if you want Toby you can just play story missions 5 times. That’s what I did.

Boldur has a hold-secondary-button shield like ISIC and Galilea do. You can put gear on him which gives him an energy shield as well.
It seemed to me op is complaining about boulder having a energy shield.I’ll edit first post.I forgot about the fact u can give him gear that gives him a shield but I’d advise against that since boulder’s strengths comes from elsewhere.
Shes not a healer, shes a tank assassin with self healing/team healing/aoe silence/pull/wound/stun. Ambra was op in beta and got nerfed, turns out she was still kind of op, so why couldnt it be the same for gali? Shes the easiest faceroll character in the game.
A phucking men. and that kd of yours down there. pm me your phoebe build. and are you playing with a team? theres no way youre achieving that solo… also your gear. my ctt stats were a little better than that, but then they nerfed her and i stopped playing her entirely. then they nerfed ambra twice, so now i am trying phoebe again after a very rough start.
ambra is no longer really viable against good players. she really has no place. no AOE, so no strong lane clear, no stun, no slow, barely does damage, slow now, and her sunspots barely heal.
but do not for one second imply that someone is bad at the game for saying anything about galilea. in all of my time in BB, the ctt, the beta, and now the full game, there has never been a stronger character than galilea. she is stronger than phoebe ever was. she literally ruins the game.
for two reasons: developers prioritize what is important to them first. in this case, and in the last, it was just nerfing and making sure you know where to buy those freaking figurines separately. so money, really. second is that people are generally bad at these kinds of games. so for that reason, they pack up and stomp randoms. somehow they get a good feeling about it. idk why.

actually just gonna leave this here:
this was me and 4 strangers, no communication, against a full team. look at their composition. other than perhaps swapping their caldarius for a miko, it was basically perfect for smoking pugs. but look at my performance (hellaaverage) and the marquis on my team compared to them… our thorn did ok, but the other two on my team basically did not have thumbs. so it was essentially a 3v5 and their five had perfect composition. this is why premades need to be split up. myself and two of my teammates literally clearly have twice the skill level of anyone on the opposing team, but because they were in a premade team, we lose badly and die a few times. fix this shiit or you will lose a LOT of players

Phoebe early game is so bad but when she reaches level 7 (with the right gear) shes a monster.
When I get to that point (by killing bots and building a bunch of turrets and accelerators around the map) that’s when I know I can practically win any 1v1 situation
I’ll definitely PM you my build and gear as soon as I get the chance.
its probably basically the same as mine. i do have somewhat ok gear for now, but i need some major improvements once everyone is geared up. and yes, level 7 is lights out. in the test when we could stack gear, OMG lol. when i got to level 7 it could be a complete snowball game and it didnt matter. when i got to 7 with my gear i could 1v2 level 10 rath and miko attachments.
and obviously you’re a great player, but you must be having at least slightly better luck than me. no matter what i do i cannot find good teammates that know how to support any kind of push. their character choices are terrible. i think marquis and thorn are great characters, but they have a huge learning curve not present in someone like rath or galilea. i have yet to get a competent miko to support me. one game i had a great reyna and that was wonderful. i actually prefer a good reyna to a miko because she can spam that shield from across the map
Thanks man and you are absolutely right. Your team will definitely have an affect on your overall performance. I had been having some great luck with the matchmaking though. Teammates always seem to be able to hold their own. I always go right side on paradise and I can see at the beginning of the match that it’s gonna be a flop if every single last one of my teammates go left lol. That’s when I just start to play really passive and focus on taking out bots and phasegating out of dodge if i’m by myself.
Yeah, level 7 phoebe with stacked gear was pretty nuts lol. I found a few mikos that were awesome but majority don’t even know how to heal lol it sucks having a bad miko on your team when the other team has a really good one. You are right about thorn and marquis having a pretty steep learning curve to them too. It’s such a pain going up against a good thorn but you got to give them props since it’s not easy doing well with her. But I absolutely hate galilea because anyone can use her and have a CRAZY impact on the game. It’s so hard to fail with galilea since she has no downsindes to her character.
She’s like a mix between boulder and rath.
I just love how Galilea AOE bubble can silence enemies, yet with phoebe, not only do you have to land bland rush but you also have to do a melee combo in order to silence one person for like 3 seconds lol. Galilea can literally just walk foward and silence/slow you, it’s so stupid. And it seems like you can never contest galilea at any level since she basically has a death sentence move so every 1v1 is a 50/50 with her.
