Unless you work at Gearbox you cannot know that Gearbox will retract the overnerfing. They even went so far is to not tell anyone about the nerf. That is just underhanded.
I play Ghalt. I put it on Ghalt. It is now useless on Ghalt. I’d gladly trade it to you for an Insurance Policy (even though that gem will most likely also be nerfed into uselessness next) for it if Gearbox would allow trading.
Legendary gear packs totally aren’t worth it. Half the time they come with negative afix so I dont use them anyway.
2 seconds no damage how its that unless? thats 2 seconds where you should be died but your not.
If you dont like it dont use it 5 seconds was way to long 2 seconds is alot better stop crying becuase your op gear is no longer op.

I never said anything about working for GBX, I merely stated my personal opinion, that we might see future changes on this item, due to the complicated nature of damage immunity effects.
Although you seem to have one good point, I couldn’t find any official information about the stat changes.
And while I haven’t played Ghalt myself, so no judgement on the utility of this item for specifically, I think its overall usefulness remains.
Like @puunchbag193 said, 2 seconds of not dying even when you’re supposed to. And while this doesn’t allow for retreat as much as 5sec would, the item hints it’s made for ‘last stands’. So, yeah, 2 more seconds to kill them before they kill you seem legit to me.
to be fair, competitive players in this game do not use gear in pvp above rare quality. the tournaments that are forming across all platforms are not allowing gear above rare. The last thing you want in a competitive setting is ANYTHING to be about who has the best gear
I guess I can understand people agreeing not to use Legendary gear in PvP because the abilities/procs on some of them can be particularly advantageous but why the hell would epic gear not be allowed? Epic gear doesn’t have crazy secondary abilities or procs or whatever so why wouldn’t epics be allowed? Makes no sense.

Hey @TheFunfighter –
We missed this one. Wasn’t a stealth nerf, this was just a fix that went in without getting picked up in the patch notes. You don’t have to accelerate to attack speed with each conversation.

Alamo-7 needed a nerf, yeah, but this was pretty extreme. Going from 5 seconds of immunity every 60 seconds to 2 seconds every 120 seconds is a massive, dramatic nerf of the kind I have consistently been ranting against on BB forums. Not b/c these things don’t need to made less powerful, but b/c major reactionary changes like this and like some characters have taken are rarely the way to go. (And yet Boldur’s lore legendary still hasn’t been fixed, which seems pretty important.)

They have say people just dont read I cant tell you how many fourms i have read were someone is compaining about something people know is happening.
“Gal nerf was not enough” they said they are reworking her.
“Miko needs nerf” they did nerf her
"Mar on overgrowth" being worked on.
This is the first thing they didnt tell us about.
It is here i dont look a reddit i read the fourms they just dont spam it ever 10 comment on ever post about the topic.
Oh, they “SHIFt-nerfed” it already? That’s a nice reactivity here. the current numbers seems pretty good too, more in line with the various legendary we can use. 2sec every 120 secs is still really good in pvp (although maybe lackluster in pve) and definitely worth the cost with the additional stats. Just, not imbalanced anymore, so that’s cool.

2K handles their developer studios awfully so I doubt “talking it over” would work.

I’ve been corner juggled by Thrall for longer than the duration of this item. I guess it is still useful for rezzing people. Correction, person.

If the nerf was going to be so happily received then why did they not include it the patch notes? Hmmm?

They overnefed it tad too much. Instead of giving complete invulnerability, which will always be hard to balance, it should have been given a damage reduction. Once every 60 seconds and your health falls down below 20%, you take 50% less damage from incoming attacks for 5 seconds.

I don’t know guys. I’m thinking it is still pretty good. Once every 2 minutes you get a free escape (2 seconds is longer than it sounds if all you are doing is running away).
Was the pre-nerf Alamo WAY better? Sure, you basically got a free dive every minute. Post-nerf Alamo pushes the item more in-line with what it should be (defensive, not offensive).
On a side note, I do completely agree that we needs Buff Icons.

I agree on that.
IIRC Jythri said that Splitscreen and Minimap placement/style (or the Interface in general) is something that GBX wants to improve, but that it would require a larger patch due to the level on which the game would be reworked.
Buff Icons are definitely part of a necessary HUD redesign, but - as many of you know from other games - they can also clutter up the screen (a lot).
So I guess we’ll have to wait a longer time for that update

Considering it’s still more impactful than most gear, I think it’s certainly a reasonable patch, especially when most gear requires a very specific situation to proc their passive, and this one’s is just “get damaged enough.”
If it pops in a 1v1 fight, and gets you the kill (which it certainly can, 5 seconds of immunity is ridiculous) then by the time your enemy respawned and got back to the fight, the passive is back up… handily made it capable of letting one person 1v1, or even team-dive and kill the same person over and over again, using the same passive ability to ensure the kill.
120 means it’ll actually give a person fighting them the chance for it to be down the next fight they get.
Don’t forget, you’re still getting it’s normal abilities on top of all of that. 2 seconds is still very reasonable, lets you absorb all the damage for the duration of a stun if need-be, and still get to fight or escape at the end, and it certainly lets you skirt away if you’re already disengaged and running from a bad situation (which you normally should be)
The passive is still going to proc plenty of times for me and save my life, it just wouldn’t let me team-dive enemies over and over again… or even sentry dive them.
