It makes boldur sad too. Makes Thorn angry, not with regret or anything, its just that anger is all she has, she knows no other feeling. And a thorn player thinks boldur is boring, pfft, or makes a game boring, pfft.

Last time I killed a Thorn with Spike, Mell called out “remember who taught me that one, Teshka?”

So there you go - Thorn, the character so OP that she invented Mellka’s best move and doesn’t even bother to use it herself.

Overheard another good line recently too - a Rath on my team killed the enemy Miko, and he laughed and said “Physician, heal thyself!”

“It appears your medic NEEDS A MEDIC!” is one of my favorite Rath lines. Right up there with when he kills another Rath and says, “I’m such a disappointment”.

There’s a Miko line I’ve heard only once, that seems to be tied to a 10 killstreak or something, where it completely loses his composure, and screams something like “WE ARE (bleep)-ING EVERYTHING!”

I gotta do some Private matches, and see if I can get it to kick again.

I’ve heard Rath say this so many times before Dreadwind got nerfed. He’s gonna REGRET IT! :mushroom:

But I kinda went to this topic because I expected people to be talking about the new Boldur… Because I haven’t seen any Boldurs after the buff/nerf. Did he get worse?

He got much better actually, his dash is stupidly easy to hit with now and his burst damage is ridiculous. He really needs to have his damage nerfed on both his skills and his axe swings after lvl 10. I got max health stacked on my gear and had 5 stacks of his lvl 9 helix and was hitting for over 500 damage a swing still. He can also hit for about 2000+ damage using Boldur dash+axe toss and a specific gear loadout. This is not acceptable on one of the tankiest characters in the game. (End rant)

It’s the buff of " Increased the Rune Power damage over time of Boldurdash by 300% (from 48 to 202 at level 5)" and “Increased the damage of Level 4 Left Helix Augment Hatchet Man by 500% (from +48 damage to +240 damage)” that needs to be reversed back to its original state, and maybe buffed slightly bit from there.

People complaining about boldur is quite funny to me, because I dont see anyone complaining about a Benedict doing 2k damage at lv3 in less then 2.54seconds, how Montana can just melt enemies with his minigun despite being a tank, how Toby can put out 200 per rail gun hit at lv 2, possibly having the most powerful ultimate, how kleese can melt anyone at melee range through his shock taser, the list goes on. If boldur gets his skills back to where they used to be, he’ll probably be the most balanced character in the game. Why the damage buff? I don’t understand. But even before the patch and reading the notes, I knew it wasn’t necessary, as I main boldur.

I wish it wasn’t so, but I’ve seen two Benedicts so far that killed me in less than 3seconds, shortly after the game just started. Then watch them melt my teammates. And no assist h any other players. Just death h Benedicts rocket ranging from 1.7-2k

I’ve played a fair bit as and against Boldur, and I’ve found Montana is easily one of the best counters. Stun him, nail him the in the crit spot a bunch of times, and then Firestorm and Mansformation to finish him off.
