Why hasnt this been said yet?

Agreed, the fact the excuse is it is hard to get is ridiculous

Have you actually used his legendary with stun mines? The first 2 seconds are used by Toby waiting to fire the second mine. The travel path is unnatural in close quarters and it requires you to directly peg the enemy. Meanwhile anything out of close quarters you have to account for travel time of the mine and the where the enemy will be. The damage between the mines is considered by most characters as laughable and by the time the stun is over you either A) hit them with 2-3 spam shots which were probably not accelerated B) hit them with a charged shot or C) charged up your ult with just enough time for it to fire as they come out of stun if your timing is good.

You also can barely move, can be cc’d out of it, has a deceptively short limited range has a long startup time and requires you to commit to the target and face them while vulnerable and the damadge can be avoided with quick maneuvering especially on console which I don’t play on

So kinda 's kinda like how stunning with a regular mine and pegging them with charged shots (which can headshot ideally) beats stun into ult because the startup for the ult is so long and enemy allies may catch you mid ult and slaughter you compared to say Toby being able to boost away.

He’s gonna need more then that.

Lol I never use Toby’s stun mine you have to hit directly with it and that requires you to get to closer ranges. I’ve always used the slow since it butchers minion waves. And if Toby is getting in close range the Toby should die fast. He has a huge crit spot and enormous hitbox

Toby has to direct hit. I know a VERY good Toby and I saw him die twice in the same match. I hardly ever die as Benedict and get the same kill numbers.

Directly hitting with a fat mine at point blank range is a lot easier than you might be imagining it. Plus he doesnt need to get close to you, if you’re melee you’ll go to him. Like pendles. His hit box doesnt matter that much to melee anyways. 4 second stuns are disgusting.

well he’d have to land both mines though and not be killed by your team mates. It’s a powerful legendary but it’s not broken.

Landing the second mine is a lot easier than landing the first one. Because they are stunned. Also depending on his level he wouldnt need a second one for pendles. Hands down the best legendary lore item in the game

It turns him from a meh/gimp sniper (many maps fuck him up) to a heavy chain cc Battleborn assassin who has a goodranged game and stellar objective takedown, defense measures and escape/ initiation.

Stuns are pretty epic but one question I ask is how hard does the slow or vortex have an effect on people??

i’ve seen double vortex mines really work too, you can get stuck in them

Do slows stack for double mines?

Nah slow doesnt work like that just refreshes duration with each tick

So if you put up one mine behind and in front of them with vortex mines would they just bounce between them?

Yeah seen it happen, they just take turns pulling you x3

After testing his legendary and running multiple tests I do agree it’s hands down one of the best legendaries in the game it’s a real game changer for Toby since it gives him cc chaining like crazy.

Indeed, toby legendary is one of 28 lore legendary that totally worth using.

Is not op as i have been in both sides of the mine. If you get stuned once you are screwed, even if you survive you can get cc by an other bb.

But lets be honest if you are playing a big character you are getting stuned easily, if you are an assasin attack his right side and spind around him that way, his arc mine is shot frlm his left arm and have a tendancy to miss in a moving target in his right side.

Please dont run straight to him… You are just asking to be stuned. Read your toby, when he decide is time to stun? When you engage? When his shields are off? After the first juump to get space?

So you’re saying they’re all worth using? No, just no.

No

If you’re an assassin and he DOES hit you, you’re dead. Thats not fun. He could quick melee you first THEN shoot you with a mine. Either way, dont engage him alone in case you get stunned and need rescue.

NO

Well you could say the same with galilea, galth, Galilea, montana. They have stun and can wreck any assasin before the stun ends.

Yeah we’ve been saying that about Galilea since forever, at least shes only got the one though. And ghalt, but everyone seems fine with Ghalt having a ranged insta-kill package. But Montana actually has to get close and charge in and usually has wind-up that prevents really quick kills
But at least its not from their lore item thats the problem

I think you are overeacting. You are not alone, if you are diving alone then you should know, toby can win a 1vs1 just like rath.
