It turns him from a meh/gimp sniper (many maps fuck him up) to a heavy chain cc Battleborn assassin who has a goodranged game and stellar objective takedown, defense measures and escape/ initiation.
Stuns are pretty epic but one question I ask is how hard does the slow or vortex have an effect on people??
After testing his legendary and running multiple tests I do agree itâs hands down one of the best legendaries in the game itâs a real game changer for Toby since it gives him cc chaining like crazy.
Indeed, toby legendary is one of 28 lore legendary that totally worth using.
Is not op as i have been in both sides of the mine. If you get stuned once you are screwed, even if you survive you can get cc by an other bb.
But lets be honest if you are playing a big character you are getting stuned easily, if you are an assasin attack his right side and spind around him that way, his arc mine is shot frlm his left arm and have a tendancy to miss in a moving target in his right side.
Please dont run straight to him⌠You are just asking to be stuned. Read your toby, when he decide is time to stun? When you engage? When his shields are off? After the first juump to get space?
So youâre saying theyâre all worth using? No, just no.
No
If youâre an assassin and he DOES hit you, youâre dead. Thats not fun. He could quick melee you first THEN shoot you with a mine. Either way, dont engage him alone in case you get stunned and need rescue.
Yeah weâve been saying that about Galilea since forever, at least shes only got the one though. And ghalt, but everyone seems fine with Ghalt having a ranged insta-kill package. But Montana actually has to get close and charge in and usually has wind-up that prevents really quick kills
But at least its not from their lore item thats the problem
Actually, the way hers works (it was tested extensively), it adds a five percent multiplier to the next hit only. You can chain together true strikes until something is double what it is originally, but that would take 6 straight alt hits.
When? You could argue when chasing someone, but true strike is on an unflinching internal cooldown. Not using your primary on between is just wasting time
I promised to bow out, but I canât let this go. Thereâs no possible way Toby can kill Pendles, or any other character, in 2 seconds, unless thereâs some other circumstance prevailing, which, as I said before, is completely pertinent in any discussion of balance. If there was a circumstance where Toby could kill Pendles in 2 seconds, weâre talking less than 2 charged shots, as hit Ult doesnât even kick on in 2 seconds, and besides mine, charged shot is the last way he has of damaging Pendles. Unless youâre talking quick melee (which would be absurd). So, it must be 2 charged shots, right? Well, Toby can land 2 shots without a stun. It would just make it easier. So, no, if Toby is killing Pendles in 2 seconds, stun mine would be an afterthought.
This is why discussion of circumstance is important in balance. Rock is completely OP against scissors, as long as you ignore paper.
Stun mine, charged shots to his bigâol crit box. Didnt say he dies in 2 seconds, just said he doesnt need to waste his second mine. Pendles cant stay and fight after that much damage.
Not sure if theyâre touching Tobyâs though, since its a helix and single target. However, weakening other peoples stuns should make toby relatively better by comparison even without the legendary. I think the legendary itself is the problem. What if it shot two mines at once in a sort of cone? The Vortex helix would be really dangerous
Supposedly theyâre nerfing almost all stuns to 1 to 1.5 sec except those that are specialized for it (like Kelvin). Toby is not specialized for it as he needs a helix to obtain a stun, so chances are it will be reduced.
