Oh, that is your problem there. PC is the most toxic playerbase ever. Followed by xbox and then psn.

I dunno. I’ve gotten really hostile comments on these forums too. The most polite game I’ve played is the MMORPG The Secret World.
Well … it is… against people that chew loudly into their mics.
It’s a competitive game. People are going to get frustrated and vent. Especially when one player goes 1 and 18 with the lowest team minion kills. I’m looking at you Rath from that one incursion round last night.
That said, people who are jerks just to be jerks suck. But that crap just comes along with being on the internet.
That’s just PvP for ya. Laugh it off, ignore them or mock them - any of the three work for me. Nothing beats the incensed rage of a wannabe-pro-gamer like the rest of his team replying with “lol dude, chill.”

Nah, his advice is accurate, no need for name calling. That’s what I do, let em rage, keep on playing. Oh, and mute.
I have not had the misfortune of running into these kinds of people so far in PvP.

i got a message yesterday from a teammate after the game. it was me as a weak melee and kleese on left lane on coldsnap, dealing with a thorn, orendi, montana. meanwhile they were over in their lane 3v2 with a ghault, rath, and orendi. we lost the game for two reasons. they never shifted a player to help on left, and even though their lane was easy mode, they never pushed up beyond middle control to actually score points past 250.
ghault is the one that sent me the message. he said, “thanks for making us lose.” i sent him a ? he responded that we couldnt kill a minion. i finished that game 9 and 4 with 60 minion kills, while he finished 4 and 4 with like 18 minion kills… thank God for match history.

PvP in general is competitve and MOBAs can be very hardcore

I’m not used to this (yet).
Is this on PC? Cause on PSN I haven’t had this issue, even with hatemail. I do get the occasional taunters after a kill but for the most part they usually lose anyways.
I will troll sometimes as a pink attikus and taunt after everykill, but that’s for the cackles.
I enjoy getting rage messages on XBone cause I usually respond in kind.
One person informed me I needed to go back to overwatch after we failed at Algorithm on Advanced. The funny thing? I led the team in revives, kills, damage output and definitely didn’t take close to the most amount of damage.
My brother split screening with me however…
At least he succeeded in dying less and reviving more than the one who messaged me.
Also was messaged to stop trying to play Team Death Match with Miko.
I had three kills, and did my best to prevent my teammates from dying…but Miko can’t out heal 4 people targeting one person who goes charging all by his lonesome full speed.
I mostly find awesome people though.
Made two friends one game, when we 4 v 5d against the same team that steamrolled my buddy and I the previous match with a different group.
Down one person, and we won because these each of the two others were better than the previous three combined.
