I am consistently seeing large level differences between teams on PC and while I know level isn’t everything and there are people that punch above and below their weight it is a strong indicator. Its not difficult to see the level differences and guess at the outcome and be right. Sure at level 50 a 15 level difference won’t matter because then it will be down to who plays their character better but when its lvl 5s vs lvl 20s there a base level of knowledge which generally isn’t there for the newer players. Knowledge about team composition, what the enemy battleborn are capable of. What situations to avoid and which objectives to prioritize all this game winning knowledge comes with time in game. Currently every match is a stomp and I know mobas can be pretty snowbally but this is beyond ridiculous. Give a noobie zone to new players, accentuate command skill xp for kills and wins in the early levels so that experienced or talented players quickly out level the zone but players that are struggling have a bit more time in the game with the kids gloves on.
In the beta there was a ranked option did this incorporate an MMR and that is where the matchmaking will be headed? How long until this is available? You’re going to lose the good players because eventually continous stomps are boring and you’re going to lose inexperienced players because getting your teeth kicked in over and over isn’t fun.
