It expires November 5th at 12am PT. They mentioned it in their update in the forum’s news section. So I am not sure why they forgot to mention it on twitter.
This is absolute ■■■■■■■■. I don’t use twitter so I miss all of the shift codes. I don’t even have a phone and the only way I hear about new codes is to check the online lists every hour or so. By the time the new ones are up there they have already expired. What the ■■■■ is up with that

You have a device that can play the game, therefore you have access to twitter. Make a twitter with fake details? I don’t see the point of this thread.
The reality of many companies now is to reach a broader audience in fans. You can be stuck in the “before” time and not be a modern socialite. But you don’t really need a Twitter account to access things. All you would have to do is keep an eye out for the 3 sources. That being the Official Borderlands 3, Official Gearbox, or the man himself Crazy Ear- I mean Randy Pitchford who tweets out the codes to be redeemed when they put them out.
It is a convenient way to send out a message you many people at a given time.
As for the limited time? My guess is because it’s like a coupon. You have a limited time to redeem it or else it expires. So take advantage of that deal and get yourself some golden keys. Or watch the show to get codes there too. Just have to keep an eye out for them.

Long story short… I wasted my time signing up to Twitch and watching over 2 hours of the most mind numbing thing EVER.
And they NEVER gave out a code…
And a coupon at least lasts a week…
Key codes expire like mission impossible instructions… This code will self destruct in. 5…4…3…2…1

There is now a pinned topic in general discussion for key codes. It is a comunity effort up to date list. Just watch the topic abd you will be nottified of new codes
Honestly, youre not missing anything. I had golden keys on day 2 and have used maybe 10 since then and I am still sitting on 5. So far I havent gotten 1 thing out of the box worth keeping. The eridium gun maker makes better weapons. The shields have all been 1-2k lower then the 1 I was currently wearing. Mods even more worthless and artifacts that were subpar at best. The time wasted finding key codes and entering them ends up not worth it.
Golden keys in BL2 were alot different then in BL3. Ive stopped caring about gold keys completely. The loot isnt even worth all that much.
