Will it turn into a deployable/buildable meta?

I.e. Teams such as Kleese and now Enerst. Not saying he’s op or impossible to beat. But those two + whatever healer is super irksome. How would one counter such a camped out combo?

I’ll give the short answer: aoe and snipers.

Snipers can’t hit behind corners, have to be relative close for some aoes such as thorn or Dragon but I guess if they’re not looking it’d work.

Learn whiskey. With Kleese being insanely good, ambra being insanely good, and Ernest being new(and pretty good from the looks of it) whiskey is a decent counter to this current meta. Use napalm to deny them the ground they are trying to set up on, harass them from a distance, and overdrive them to hell. Oh and all those deploys can trigger whiskeys passive

Use Ernest to counter Ernest. Meta wise terrible but I easily kill others of myself.

Only problem with that is the time you have to cede to get to level 6 to get it. But it is a great counter though.Hes probably the only who can do it best without getting close

Well you just kinda have to do your best to get out of your early game assp. I often pour my shards into exp stuffs til about 3 when I get my scope which makes life much easier. If a minion wave comes up focus entirely on it. A well placed sticky can give an aoe to st leasy net you some exp from the entire wave. Hell 2 well place melees should kill minions one by one. Once you have your scope focus buildings whenever they are available for exp then either shut down the characters deployables or harass the crap out of them. That’s your role. Levels 4-7 are just amazing and if you are smart it’s not super difficult to get there

You use the snipers to hit Kleese and Ernest’s big butts.

So on the topic of deployables… Anyone think there needs to be a minion mancer? if you’ve played Heroes of the Storm, think similar to abathur. But creating minions or something … Then the deployable meta can truly begin!

You destroy their buildables. Which Ernest does amazingly well himself.

Once you get Kleese off his he can’t really set them up in anywhere but a disadvantageous place if he wants full effect.

Still seems to me the odds would be stacked against that. Especially if you’re playing with randoms
