i’ll gladly explain the context for why I am looking for it,

I run an all buildcost reduction loadout especially for meltdown, now when I do this I play as OM or pendles depending on my mood. but I constantly spam bots and buy all the buildables(most of my team can hold their own and if they point out a turret I swoop through to buy it for them while the enemy focuses on them) so a 25% shard refund would be IMMENSELY helpful for me personally

i’d end up getting the bots anyway…but it’d feed shards back into me passively aside from the shard gen.

I used a similar loadout for my OM.
Sentinel Reset switch
Epic Shard Generator with secondary Buildables reduction
Epic +Shield and +Shards OR an epic with Buildables reduction secondary.

It shines in Incursion, especially Overgrowth. In Meltdown I usually go with 0 Cost Shard Gen, 0 Cost Wrench, +1 Other. That’s usually enough for me to spam buildables from the get go and without having to leave the lane to farm shards that often (as well as allowing my team to get the shards for their loadouts). A builder who won’t be in lane much should probably not be hogging all the shards to activate their expensive building equipment when a VERY VERY cheap alternative is available.

see what I would do is stack nothing but build cost reduction

shard gen with a build cost reduction
wrench with a secondary build cost reduction 4 30 seconds after buying a buildable
then a shield regen with more build cost reduction

about 60% discount after everything kicks in so I don’t need much to spam bots(and if bots also give a refund it’d add to the cycle even more)

I get’cha, whatever works for your playstyle. It’s funny though, I usually end up being the “Builder” of the team, and end up leveling extremely quickly even while not getting all the kills. It’s why I like going with cheaper non-legendary building materials, I can be building in between me killing things and get levels from both roles. I especially love Overgrowth, I usually build that mid shock turrent over 50 times per complete game.

I hope they see the irony in having Legendary Shard Generators that cost 1800 shards and reduce them to about no more than Epic costs (1050) same with the Wrench/Buildables Legendary (Rare-Epic levels of cost depending on which ones, uncommon costs for the Sustainment Well lol).

i agree the cheaper gear is good as well,but i love having the secondary effects as well. they add so many more layers to it!

I’ve done a good amount of testing and experimenting and have done some theorizing on weird synergies that can be done…some are more for sheer theoretical work but maybe someone can make it viable

here’s one loadout that would seem “interesting” if mixed with an attack miko and pandemic but i’ll leave it up to others to decide yay or nay

use bola’s target finder

Bola’s Target Finder
+9.10% Skill Damage
+5.04% Attack Speed
Damaging enemies with Skills increases damage dealt to them by +5.60% for 10 seconds.

and shield web interdictor
Shield Web Interdictor
+9.10% Skill Damage
+98 Maximum Shield Strength
Skill hits prevent enemies’ shields from charging for 8 seconds.

and pacifier if possible
The Pacifier
+9.10% Attack Damage
+98 Maximum Shield Strength
Damaging enemies lowers their Attack Damage by 10% for 5 seconds.

now I’ve been told mellka’s venom proc’s bola’s so it would stand to reason that miko’s venom would as well

following that you’d be cancelling shield charging, increasing the damage they receive and reducing their attack power, not by a ton no. but that’s why it’s just a theorizing kind of build.

Can’t have shield web indicator and bolas target finder at the same time though. I would replace the Shield web indicator with a shard collector to help with the two legendary gear

do you by chance have voxis core? i’m curious if the aoe from voxis core also applies the debuff and if pandemic procs it(i can’t stop the thoughts and any testing is incredibly helpful to me as well thank you for your time and effort!)

it’s all good, i’m actually curious if gear stacks, like if all people on a party equip the pacifier does it only deal 59% damage?(.9 to the 5th power assuming it would be multiplicative) sorry i had a random thought moment…

Miko’s passive does trigger Bolas target finder so pandemic would be a massive damage amp for the team.

i have one and another friend has one as well that i know of, so we’re up to 3. now how to do a controlled test is the other side of it, maybe a private match someone picks a character for a control(say boldur)
he hits someone once, take note of the damage done. all people hit him once with pacifier and let him hit again and see the difference…

and i have pacifier but not bola. but still would be useful to test!
