Did you try a power reset on the console to clear any stale cached game data? Any issues signing in to shift.gearboxsoftware.com? Other than that I can only suggest you file an official support ticket

I didn’t have any issues signing in after the update personally, but then I also haven’t booted the game up in at least a week or two and the console gets shut down every night. Not sure if that makes a difference or not.

It actually worked using the shift website to link my Xbox account. @VaultHunter101 Thank you.

I had signed into shift.gearboxsoftware.com with by Xbox account and still encountered the problem after that and had turned the console off and back on several times earlier today. I presume those were not complete shutdowns, however, because after performing a restart on the console, I am now able to login.

I’m having the same issue. Update fully completed, tried powering off/back on, unplugged console for several minutes. Nothing has worked.

@Kingwayner52 Is your account linked to shift? That’s how I got passed the signin in game.

I don’t think it is. I didn’t have a shift account before posting in the forum. I ended up uninstalling, and am currently reinstalling the game right now. Hopefully, I can get in after that, and I’ll be able to link to Shift.

Same here trying the shift account activation now seeing if that works… I did get it to temp work by getting to sign in screen shutting of my connection to internet singing in but when I went to turn internet back on and was trying to connect to bf.s game it kicked to daah

Same here. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling. Tried logging in to Shift from my Xbox account, done power reset. Still the same.

That is strange. It worked for me first time linking my account to shift then in game signin to main menu.

Same issue here. Download fully completed, Xbox One updated, and I even linked my shift account. Still stuck on the sign in screen. I even nixed the CD and bought the Super Deluxe version from the MS store, all with the same result. I opened a trouble ticket…hopefully this gets fixed!

Update: Tried to log in just now and it magically worked. Im sure my trouble ticket wasnt addressed that fast and Im not sure what step actually corrected the issue.

Going offline = work around !

I’ve tried all the things in the thread, hours of clear, reset, reload, etc.

needed to use each profile to launch game, sync data, and hang… Painful due to the 5 minute preload, but at least it will pass the sign in issue in offline status. Yea!

For those like me who only have a shift account because of this problem if you want to play but dont have to play online just go offline like Drknow111 suggested and it will work fine. Seems like gearbox needs to fix this issue for those of us who never wanted a shift account so the game works properly.
