This time my question is about Miko. Does healing rec’d affect any of the following for Miko:
-
Biosynthesis, or whatever it’s called, the one where you heal yourself. Is this affected either by healing power or healing rec’d? Or both?
-
Miko has a helix that when you use biosynth and heal a teammate, it also heals you. Is this affected by healing rec’d?
Thanks, and cheers to the most confusing gear stat in the game!
EDIT: Ultimately my practical question is, are symbiotic spores and song of vigor pointless to use on Miko?

I have no answers, but I’m glad you’re asking this as I wondered the same thing but never got around to asking.

Song of vigor is bad because that legendary effect is garbage but symbiotic spores would still be great on him for it’s legendary effect.

Symbiotic Spores works best on someone like Montana or Kelvin who gets healed constantly. Song of Vigor helps if you’re kleese
Uhhh. No, not really. Symbiotic Spores works best on a healer. You completely and totally waste the primary effect on someone that can’t heal, and considering how ubiquitous it is on healers, you likely waste the tertiary effect too. Take it on a healer for massively boosted heals and the ability to keep yourself alive longer (since all true healers have a way to heal themselves). If you want a good healing received item for a tank, you first make sure you are playing with someone you know will actually heal you, and then you take Survivor’s Symbiosis Rune or Sportsman’s Nanny-Bot Transponder. All-4-One Morale Booster completely outclasses Symbiotic Spores on a tank. No sense in taking a legendary that you can’t even use the primary effect on.
Yeah, I was thinking that, but I figured out of anyone, the tertiary effect (the only reason to take a legendary) would fit Montana best, as you’re never focusing on healing yourself as a healer

Does Heal Power / Healing received also affect life steal?
Would it help out Rath with heal power / Dmg reduction + healing received / dmg reduction, or are these wasted and I should go for other stats?

so far as I know they do not affect lifesteal so i’d say go with other stats, for rath i’d recommend attack speed/damage
Even if rath did benefit from heal power or healing received on his life steal I feel you would get more overall value by just taking attack speed attack damage and skill damage(maybe even max shield and shield pen too) so I think you would just be kind of cheating yourself
Even if heal power/healing received DO affect Rath’s life steal, the extra life stolen is going to be miniscule. If you heal for 8% of the damage you deal and it boost that number by another 10% that’s only a change from like 8 to 8.8.
