Press R3 to ping the map and alert yiur team mates to enemies or other events.

(sadly, it won’t work properly or your team mates will completely ignore it)

You can sort gear based on a number of different categories as well as save loadouts for certain playstyles or characters

Sadly I didn’t realize this right away

Also what about more lore details as well? Meaning some fact about wrath or jennerit etc. Maybe something more directly related to missions plots. I still don’t really know what solus is, who lives there etc.

You can also rename your loadouts.

Yeah. Took me a while to figure out I could call it bendicts loadout instead of having to remember what gear I just setup for it and scramble to find it at character selection screen

@snomes

In the same vein, you can sort your Battleborns and Titles in much the same way.

A pair of powerful Thrall mercenaries will appear off the middle of the map every 5 minutes in Incursion map time. Make sure to collect them!

Really? Wow. I guess I’m further behind than I thought. Some of these things I’m just learning today despite having game since launch.

Try different combinations of characters and Helix augments on your team for unexpected synergy and results in combat.

Also what about negative attributes on gear? For months I was deleting them because I just thought it was inferior to gear with all positive attributes but they can still be useful for character unaffected by the negative attribute (melee character doesn’t reload for example).

Very true! I know it’s the last star in the galaxy, but I don’t really have a sense of the galaxy (how big it is, who still lives there, what planets are left, what races there are, and why the Varelsi wish to destroy it).

Yeah. Would be cool to give some tidbits about the galaxy.

Its actually the last star in the universe, a universe former filled with quiet a huge number of now already darkened galaxies. (Our universe has approx. 100 Billion galaxies.)
As I understood the few bits of lore so far there are still some planets inhabitat by their former population, at least those who could not be exfiltrated or flee.
The stars are darkened out, so I think most populations outside of the Solus System will live underground now, with no life on the planets surface. And thats the lucky case in which no Varelsi roam the place.

I´d LOVE a “Great Almanach of Codex” with lore entries to further species, planets and history of the darkened universe. And I want to know what a lorrian looks like

how about the skill activation options, scroll down in the gameplay section , i know it’s kinda obvious but i talked to a lot of players (lvl 100’s as well) who didn’t know, this little option raises the flow of many heroes, best example, Reyna, i had a lot of trouble to apply shields because of this friggin targeting system, putting it on instant made me love her, its a matter of seconds, just aim in the direction and shield is applied, no matter if they jump or run around an obstacle, very very helpful :acmaffirmative:

Indeed! An euphemism would be “very epic”, but its really really depressing.
The huge scale of lost lifeforms and the sheer thought of casualties within the BB-universe is overwhelming.

One might add that while dialogue during ‘The Archive’ states the Eldrid once spread across galaxies, that probably means two or three galaxies at most.

This also means, there’s no way to tell exactly when distant galaxies were darkened by the Varelsi. They were probably at it millenia before anyone in the Battleborn factions even heard the name ‘Varelsi’.

/Edit: Sorry for derailing.

To be on Topic:

“You can change your keybindings freely, via the Options menu.”

It might not be something worth explaining on PC, but definitely worth a thought on consoles.
