Zane’s barrier is not working against COV enemies

As per the title. I am guessing the change to the COV nadasses bullets had the unintended effect of allowing it to pass through Zane’s barrier. If this is a duplicate topic please close (I searched and only found a duplicate in the PS4 forum).
